Atharva graduated with a B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from Gujarat National Law University in 2017. Thereafter, in 2018, he completed his LL.M from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) where he took courses from the Department of Law and the Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method and wrote a dissertation in the area of Bioethics. His primary areas of interest are Technology Law and Ethics, Bioethics, and Constitutional Law. Apart from that he holds keen interest in areas of general philosophy, politics and public policy.
Atharva has published several articles in law journals of Indian national law schools like NUJS Kolkata, RGNUL Patiala and NLU Assam as well as presented conference papers at NLSIU Bangalore and Symbiosis Law School, Pune. He has also written articles for popular media like DNA, a leading English newspaper, and Spicy IP, India’s most prominent blog for Intellectual Property Law. He has won GH Raisoni Moot Competition in 2016 and was the ‘Best Speaker’ and Runner Up at RMLNLU SCC Media Law Moot Court Competition in 2015. Atharva also has internship experience at Star India Pvt. Ltd. (Hotstar), The Walt Disney Co. India, and at the Office of Retd. Justice Deepak Verma, Retd. Judge of the Supreme Court of India.
In his free time Atharva enjoys watching documentaries and writing the occasional film/book review. He is a huge cricket buff and has been a district level Table Tennis player.
