Prof. Kinshuk Jha is Assistant Professor and Assistant Director, Centre for Comparative and International Taxation and Centre for International Trade and Economic Laws at Jindal Global Law School. He attained his bachelor degrees in Business Administration and Law respectively, from Symbiosis Law School, Pune in 2009. He was awarded the Erasmus Mundus scholarship to pursue a LLM in European Law at University of Rouen, France and Hanover University, Germany. Returning to India in 2011, he started practicing in the domain of Commercial Laws, particularly Corporate Laws and International Taxation. Prior to joining Jindal Global Law School in 2013, he primarily practiced in matters relating to Transfer Pricing and Authority for Advance Ruling. At Jindal Global Law School, he has helped setup the Executive LLM program in Taxation and teaches Domestic and Comparative Taxation Laws at both, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He was also involved by the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE), an administrative body of the Government of India for public and private school education, to co-author a text book on legal studies. His research interests lie in contemporary questions of International Taxation and Trade Laws, especially on issues relating to double non-taxation and complexities of bilateral trade treaties. He is also an avid traveler, an Indian classical musician and an enthusiastic sportsperson. He is a certified French and German speaker.
