Lakshmi completed her B.A.LL.B (Hons.) from NMIMS KPM School of Law, Mumbai, with a specialisation in Business Law in 2018.

She has completed her LLM in Intellectual Property and Information Law from King’s College London. Her research and academic interests lie in Copyright law, Trademark law, Commercial perspectives of IPR and IP Policy in India. She has a blog and has published blog posts in hers as well as other blogs. At King’s College she is currently researching on ‘Intermediary Liability for Copyright Infringement’. She has participated and won many moots and debates throughout her law school.

Outside of her legal interests, she has a deep interest in Music and has been an Indian classical vocalist since the age of seven. She has been trained in Carnatic Music and secured merit in her Level 4 examination from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu in 2017. She also has linguistic interests and is fluent in Hindi, Marathi and Tamil apart from English. Currently, she is learning Korean through self study.
