Umika is an LL.M. in Comparative and International Dispute resolution from the Queen Mary University of London. There she specialised in international arbitration and went on to gain work experiences with English Barristers and Solicitors. Her experience ranges from working for the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi, an international arbitration institution in Malaysia to a legal tech start-up in Paris.

 

Her deep interest in international arbitration ensured that she graduated with a distinction degree from Queen Mary and assisted her professors there in research assignments. She has also published her research internationally and continues to write for well-known international arbitration blogs for practitioners.

 

Her interest lies in international commercial arbitration, international investment arbitration, energy arbitration, construction arbitration and maritime arbitration.
