Mr. Brajesh Ranjan teaches procedural laws at Jindal Global Law School, Sonepat. He is a graduate from Columbia Law School. He is member of New York State Bar licensed to practice as attorney in the state of New York. He is also a member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, India. Prior to taking up teaching position at Jindal Global Law School, Mr. Ranjan was practicing as an attorney before Bombay High Court. Civil Procedure Code and Law of Evidence are his areas of research and interest. Mr. Ranjan assisted the Law Commission of India in drafting the 253rd Report of the Commission. He played an instrumental role in drafting the Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Courts Bill, 2015. He has previously taught trial procedure at NYU, New York for a fellowship program and has been a visiting faculty at China University of Political Science and Law, Beijing.
