I am interested in doing research in social psychology of education through the interdisciplinary lens (esp. through integration of social identity and social representations framework). Current my research can be composed into the following broader areas, 1) The role of educational leaders in the social change process, 2) Social class, stereotype threat effect and academic achievement, 3) Social representations of academic achievement and failure among different social categories and in their discourses, 4) Exploring the meaning of Dalit Leadership, political culture and the emergence of collective pride in tackling caste based humiliations which I discussed recently in an International leadership symposium (May, 2017) in Mykonos, Greece. I have taught Social Psychology, Organizational Behaviour, Educational Psychology and History and Philosophy of Psychology.
