Ira Chadha-Sridhar is pursuing a Masters of Law (LL.M) from the University of Cambridge, for which she received scholarships from the Cambridge Society of Bombay and the Cambridge Nehru Trust. Her areas of interest are jurisprudence, and legal and political philosophy. Ira holds a B.A.L.L.B from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, where she was Editor of the NUJS Law Review, received the ‘European Society of International Law Mooting Prize’ and the ‘NUJS Best Debater Award’ for her active engagement with parliamentary debating in India. Ira has published widely on contemporary issues of feminist theory, relational ethics and jurisprudence – interests which she will develop further through her association with the ‘Centre for Public Law and Jurisprudence’ at JGLS.
