Sandeep Suresh is currently a Research Associate at Jindal Global Law School. He obtained his LL.B. from National Law University, Jodhpur (2015) and LL.M. (Comparative Constitutional Law) from Central European University, Budapest (2017). He was awarded the CEU Master’s Excellence Scholarship to pursue the LL.M. and secured the research award for the Best Academic Performance in the Fall Term. He wrote his LL.M. Thesis on the constitutional legitimacy of compulsory voting by comparing Indian and Australian constitutional systems. Prior to the LL.M., Sandeep had worked as a Research & Litigation Associate at the Centre for Law and Policy Research, Bangalore on issues concerning the right to education, disability rights, and women’s rights.
His main areas of research interest are comparative constitutional law, electoral laws, political rights, judicial process, and separation of powers.
