Sindhu is an Indian attorney with a B.A.LL.B (Business Law Hons.) degree from National Law University, Jodhpur. In 2018, she graduated from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law with a Juris Doctor degree.
Soon after her graduation in India, she transitioned to practice corporate transactional work in a leading Indian law firm to better understand the workings of the newly liberalized Indian legal regime. In the past, she has had the opportunity to work simultaneously with a cutting edge Silicon Valley corporate law firm, a top entrepreneurial business law program and an impactful U.S government funded tech incubator.
She jointly edited a book on “Right to Information and Good Governance” wherein her specific area was disclosure of information by financial institutions. She was part of the team which worked towards recommending India's Parliamentary Standing Committee on debt recovery law reforms. While at University of Arizona, she garnered valuable teaching experience as a “Supreme Court Teaching Fellow”, instructing undergraduates and has also garnered administrative experience at the university’s Immigrant Student Resource Centre as a ‘college navigator’. She has previously assisted in administering ‘contract law’ and ‘media & privacy law’ courses in her capacity as a researcher at National Law School of India University, Bengaluru.
She enjoys meditating, hiking, travelling and cooking in her free time. She has been an active pro-bono advocate of various issues concerning rights of women, immigrants and the rural population.
